Genna Gibbons scored six goals, Allison Carter added three and Sacred Heart Prep topped Castilleja 16-1 in a West Bay Athletic League Foothill Division contest Saturday at El Camino Park in Palo Alto.

Gibbons, who scored a career-high seven goals in Tuesday’s win over Mitty, has scored at least two goals in all 11 games thus far and leads the Gators with 46, three shy of her total from last season. She has scored in 29 of her 30 career matches.

Carter, a senior, has also scored in 29 of 30 matches, is second on the team with 22 goals and has 81 over the past two years. She also has 12 assists.

Seven others each scored once and seven different players recorded an assist. Emma Briger made five saves for SHP (8-3, 7-0), which has a key WBAL Foothill Division match with Menlo-Atherton (6-4, 4-1) at 4 p.m. Tuesday in Atherton.

Sacred Heart Prep brings a five-game winning streak into its match with the Bears. SHP has won 7 of 9 overall.

Anika Adzich scored the only goal, with an assist from Olivia Watson, for Castilleja (4-5-1, 2-3-1), which travels to play Menlo School at 4 p.m. Tuesday. The Knights (5-3, 3-1) are a half-game out of second.

In the WBAL Skyline Division, Presentation remained undefeated with a 20-12 victory over Priory in Portola Valley on Friday.

Presentation (5-0, 5-0) led 11-8 at halftime.

Priory (4-6, 2-3) travels to play Carlmont at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Belmont.

Boys lacrosse

The defending West Catholic Athletic League champion Sacred Heart Prep extended its winning streak to 16 matches, dating to last April 26, beating Marin Catholic 17-14 in a nonleague match Saturday in Atherton.

Billy Barnds scored six goals and had two assists and Tommy Barnds added four scores and three assists for the Gators (11-0), who play Piedmont at 4 p.m. Tuesday in Atherton.

Sacred Heart Prep led at halftime, 12-5, and the game was never in doubt despite the close final. Cody Wiebe recorded nine saves for the Gators.

Ben Ramsey and Patrick Hagerty each scored twice and Larry Hart added a pair of assists.
