The Stanford men’s swimming and diving team will compete in a talented field at the Texas Invitational this week at the Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center in Austin.

The four-day meet, which will have an environment similar to that of the Pac-12 and NCAA Championship meets, will feature hosts Texas, USC, Arizona, Brigham Young, Harvard, Denver and Oklahoma Baptist.

The meet is Stanford’s third and final event of the fall, and is hosted by the defending national champion Texas Longhorns.

The meet will begin Wednesday evening at 4 p.m. PT with the swimming of the 800-yard freestyle relay, with prelims for individual events beginning at 8 a.m. on Thursday.

Longhorn Network (ESPN) will air live coverage of all “A” final heats during the Thursday and Saturday finals sessions and tape-delayed coverage from the Friday evening finals session.
