Head to Coupa Cafe’s eighth location — and second in downtown Palo Alto — this Monday, March 7, for a grand opening and free lattes.
The new Coupa opened in late January at 111 Lytton Ave., several blocks away from the original cafe on Ramona Street. The new outpost is sandwiched between Survey Monkey and gelato shop Gelataio in the Lytton Gateway building, conveniently located just across the street from the downtown Caltrain station. It joins other locations on the Stanford University campus, Stanford Golf Course and one in Beverly Hills.
You’ll find all the Coupa staples at the new branch of the family-owned Venezuelan cafes — espresso drinks, arepas, sandwiches and salads — plus some new items (boba, burgers, tacos, even a shrimp po’boy). Check out the menu here.
Coupa will be hosting a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony at noon on Monday, but stop by any time throughout the day, whisper “grand opening” and you’ll get a free medium latte. The cafe is open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
March 7 also happens to be Coupa’s 12th anniversary. The Coupal family opened their first cafe at 538 Ramona St. in 2004.
