■ Music: Playing for pianos

Members of the Stanford Music Department’s piano faculty will play a benefit concert tonight (Sept. 7), raising funds to buy more pianos for the department and the under-construction Bing Concert Hall. The concert will be at 8 p.m. in Dinkelspiel Auditorium. Admission is $25. Go to events.stanford.edu.

■ Dance: Belly dancing
