Oscar da Silva scored 19 points and had 10 rebounds and Stanford won back-to-back games for the first time since opening conference play with four straights wins, beating host Washington State 75-57 on Sunday night.

Daejon Davis added 17 points for the Cardinal (18-9, 7-7), which hosts Utah in a Pac-12 Conference game at 7 p.m. Wednesday. The Utes (15-12, 6-9) beat USC 79-65 in another Sunday contest.

Tyrell Terry added 12 points for Stanford, which extended its winning streak over Washington State to eight games.

Stanford shot over 55% from the field and held the Cougars under 40% in both contests.

The Cardinal is alone in seventh place with four games remaining. Sixth-place USC has a half-game edge with three left on its schedule.

Washington State was within 47-43 midway in the second half before the Cardinal eventually built a 20-point advantage when Terry hit a 3-pointer with 3:07 left. The Cougars missed their final eight shots.

Terry, who had a team-high five assists, was the only Cardinal to shoot below 50% on the day.

The game was tied 16-16 with 8:14 remaining to play in the first half when Stanford went on a 17-3 run, opening a 33-19 advantage five minutes later.

The Cougars rallied to close within 36-29 at halftime.
