Alison Weisner, beloved daughter, sister, aunt, niece and friend, passed away on Friday, June 10 after living with cancer for over a decade. She was 63 years old. Alison lived nearly her entire life in the Barron Park neighborhood of Palo Alto, California. She graduated from Henry M. Gunn High School and Reed College in Portland, Oregon. Alison enjoyed a long career as a document librarian, at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati Law Firm. In addition to being a prolific reader, Alison wrote fiction and poetry, was a nature photographer, and a calligrapher. She was fiercely independent yet devoted herself to friends, family, and her community. A prodigious walker, Alison loved and cared for the environment; she and her sun hat were a constant, friendly presence all around the Palo Alto area. Her monumental intelligence, kindness and wit will be deeply missed by father John, sister Kirsten, niece Fiona, and nephews Kyle and Declan.
