MEGABROKERS . . . Coldwell Banker brokers Royce Cablayan, Hugh Cornish, Tom Dallas, Scott Dancer, Ed Kohl, Ginny Kavanaugh, Helen Kuckens, Brendan Leary, Tom LeMieux, Jim McCahon and Hanna Shacham were named "megabrokers" by Unique Homes magazine in its November 2000 issue. Unique Homes, which showcases luxury properties, named these megabrokers for having a minimum of $25 million in sales volume. The top megabroker sold $200 million in property--but they would not reveal who it was.

SPECTACULAR HYBRIDS . . . A picture presentation of "New Exciting Hybrids from West Coast Hybridizers" will be offered by Don Wallace of Singing Tree Gardens in Arcata at the next meeting of the DeAnza Chapter of the American Rhododendron Society, Wednesday, Nov. 15, at 7:30 p.m. at the Hillview Recreation/Community Center, 87 Hillview Ave. in Los Altos.
