The Weeks Street Community Garden at 831 Weeks Street needs volunteers every Saturday, 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. The community garden is a collaborative project of the East Palo Alto Historical and Agricultural Society (EPA HAS) and Bay Area Action. Call Erica at 329-0294.

Volunteer tutors needed for the East Palo Alto Library Adult Literacy Program. Free training and flexible hours. Call 323-0362.

Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Support group meetings Thursday mornings at 11 a.m. at East Palo Alto Senior Center, 560 Bell St., East Palo Alto. Call 688-1824.

English and/or Spanish speaking volunteers are needed for nonprofit organizations in East Palo Alto, Menlo Park and Palo Alto. Volunteers will assist with general office and/or patient support. The Block Club Network Association will be holding neighborhood block club meetings every Wednesday on the following streets: Addison Avenue, Buchanan Court, Dumbarton Avenue and Illinois Street. Bayshore Community Kiwanis Club meets the second and fourth Tuesday of each month, 12:15 p.m. at the East Palo Alto Senior Center, 560 Bell St. Call 688-1824.

Gloria Way Community Housing Peninsula Habitat for Humanity and EPA CAN DO Volunteers are needed to work on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays to help build 24 condos. Call 324-2266.

Major Taylor Cycling Club hosts a free bike repair clinic on the first and third Saturday of every month, corner of University Avenue and Bay Road, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Every Saturday, there is a club ride for any experience level.
