Corrections Corrections (August 10, 2005)text: The July 27 edition of the Weekly incorrectly reported that Esther's German Bakery would open a retail outlet at the site of the old Harmony Bakery. Best Video is currently at that location, and has no plans to move. Esther's is opening the bakery at 2737 Middlefield Road.

The Aug. 3 edition of the Weekly incorrectly reported that a developer had a restraining order against Doug Moran. It was actually a temporary restraining order, which was dropped after the complaining party withdrew his request. A permanent restraining order requires a hearing at which both sides may testify, while a temporary order can be granted after hearing from just one party.

In the Aug. 3 cover story, a photo caption mistakenly identified Mary Wolf of Printer's Café as campaigning against a Starbucks moving in to California Avenue. There is a protest, but she is not involved.

In the Aug. 3 edition, a profile of artist Fletcher Benton -- who created a new public sculpture for Palo Alto - incorrectly referred to a small model he created as a "machete." The correct word is "maquette."
