Palo Alto City Council . . . The council will discuss a memo to create a police oversight committee and an annual survey of residents . The meeting will be held on Monday, Feb. 7 at 7 p.m. in the City Council Chambers inside City Hall (250 Hamilton Ave.).
Palo Alto Unified School District . . . The Board of Education is scheduled to vote on its next parcel tax election , including the amount, length and date of election. The meeting will be held Tuesday, Feb. 8 at 7 p.m. in the district's board room (25 Churchill Ave.).
Palo Alto Planning and Transportation Commission . . . The commission will review the proposed development agreement between the City of Palo Alto and Stanford University, known as the Mayfield deal , which would include construction of the Mayfield soccer fields, development in the Stanford Research Park, and new housing on California Avenue. Director of Planning and Community Environment Steve Emslie will brief the commission the year's budget. The meeting will be held Wednesday, Feb. 9 at 7 p.m. in the City Council Chambers inside City Hall (250 Hamilton Ave.).
Palo Alto Human Relations Commission . . . The commission will hold a meeting with City Manager Frank Benest and Police Chief Lynne Johnson about police-race relations. The meeting will be held Thursday, Feb. 10 at 7 p.m. in the Council Conference Room inside City Hall (250 Hamilton Ave.).
