The Palo Alto Art Center presents three new exhibits: "The Gift: Surimono Prints from Bay Area Collections," "Spring Pool/Floating Sky: In Praise to Indigo" and "Moving Cabinetry: Tansu From the Zentner Collection."

Magnificat will perform tonight at 8 p.m. at the First Lutheran Church, 600 Homer Ave. (corner of Webster) in Palo Alto. The early-music ensemble will perform Marc-Antoine Charpentier's "The Sacrifice of Abraham" and "The Prodigal Son." Tickets are $25 general admission, $18 seniors and $12 students. Artists in Action
Artists in Action will present a Red Cross fundraiser today through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (today from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.) at 1022 Webster St. (across from Addison Elementary School) in Palo Alto. The sale will include jewelry by Carina Rossner, glassware by Dean Bensen, sculpture by Fabienne Bismuth. Paintings, hand-knit scarves and Japanese embroidery will also be available. Broceliande will perform on Saturday at 8 p.m. at the Palo Alto Art Center, 1313 Newell Road in Palo Alto.
