Spago Palo Alto will host a winemaker's dinner on Monday, May 24 at 5:30 p.m. The dinner will feature the wines of Duckhorn Vineyards, with a menu created by Spago founder Wolfgang Puck and Executive Chef Aram Mardigian. Winemakers Bill Nancarrow, Mark Beringer and Zach Rasmuson of Duckhorn will be present. The cost is $150 per guest, inclusive of tax and gratuity.

St. Michael's Alley will host a winemaker's dinner on Wednesday, May 26 at 6:30 p.m. The five-course dinner, prepared by chef Ryan Anderson, will feature Page Mill Winery. Winemaker Dane Stark will be present. The cost is $72 per person plus tax and gratuity.

Wine historian Nina Wemyss will give a lecture on Friday, May 28, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Community School of Music and Arts Finn Center, (Tateuchi Hall), 230 San Antonio Circle in Mountain View. The subject of the lecture will be "Wine and civilization: Wine's rich relationship with the arts." The event will also feature a tasting of premier California wines, paired with food from Silicon Valley restaurants. Wemyss was the featured wine historian on the History Channel's "A Brief History of Wine" in 2003.
