$130.6 BILLION IDEAS . . . With Americans projected to spend a bundle on home and garden improvements in 2003, the Peninsula Home and Garden Show, today through March 2, will offer plenty of ideas and exhibits for inspiring remodeling. Highlights include ideas for "aging in place" (making your home more accessible), trends in kitchen and bathroom renovations, visits from TV personalities and a look at a log-cabin home. Held at the San Mateo Expo Center, 2495 S. Delaware St., San Mateo, the show is open Friday, noon to 9 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Admission is $8 for adults; children 12 and under are free. BLUEBERRY HILLS FOREVER . . . For those interested in learning how to grow blueberries, Nancy Garrison is offering a class tomorrow from 10:30 a.m. to noon at Common Ground, 559 College Ave., Palo Alto. Garrison, who grows 60 varieties of fruit on her quarter-acre urban farm in San Jose, will cover choosing a growing site, amending and acidifying soil, and managing moisture. Cost is $17.
