As pandemic outlook improves, San Mateo County health officials say COVID won't disappear

San Mateo County plans to align itself with the state's decision to lift its indoor mask mandate for vaccinated residents on Feb. 15, but individual businesses may still require them.

Poor leadership in San Mateo County. Leave it to businesses to decide! Masks required in schools,public transportation,medical settings ,etc. but not everywhere...
No wonder people are not compliant, it’s too confusing for
many, so they wing it. Not a good public health policy!

San Mateo will get lots of business from Santa Clara county. It is a short drive for us to experience freedom and choose for ourselves whether we want to continue to mask.
