It started out as an idea in the minds of incarcerated boys 13 years ago. But Christa Gannon turned a fly-speck of a program into a $3.7 million nonprofit powerhouse that has helped thousands of at-risk kids stay out of jail and get onto a good life track.

Congratulations Christa! You deserve this honor for your years of total dedication to this important issue. Who knew back in 1L year that you would still be as devoted to this issue as you were then? Your journey is a great example for law students because it shows that you don't have to go the corporate law route -- you can be devoted to your passion from day one and make a difference. Thanks for all you have done and continue to do.

Christa -- You are such a great example of following your passion, and plenty of kids must be grateful for your having done so! I have always been in awe of the vision and execution of FLY.

I don't know you personally Christa Gannon but you are now a heroine to me. What an admirable leader you are in choosing to use your power to help the "forgotten youth". What a lasting difference you have made for not only the youth but those of us who have now have more hope because of people like you.

YEAH CHRISTA!! I certainly experienced your dedication when I was Hailey's nanny....and it continues. Talk about a purpose-driven life!
