Menlo Park has NOT banned homework

Original post made by Name, Menlo Park, on Feb 28, 2007

Principal Ackerman at Oak Knoll took initiative this year to reign in homework loads that were becoming excessive and define what kinds of homework are appropriate for young children, but there was never any direction to eliminate homework altogether.

I heard they just decided the close down all of their schools, and that they were building a giant ferris wheel for the children, kind of like the rat wheel for the adults, except the first two rides are gonna be free for the kids.
