Peninsula Bible Church hosts prayer meeting Sunday evening

Original post made by Parent, Another Palo Alto neighborhood, on Jun 5, 2009

I want you to know about an opportunity coming up this Sunday: a prayer meeting at PBC in response to the recent suicides of high school kids – at 7:00PM, probably lasting an hour (or less).

The event will include music and readings and some time for quiet. At the end we will offer an opportunity for people who want to join in prayer groups to do so. Please feel free to join us, bring your junior high or high school students, and invite anyone else who might be interested in praying for those among us who are hurting (feel free to forward this email on). The Palo Alto community has been severely shaken by these recent suicides and is in need of comfort and hope. PBC also has close connections with the recent suicides and has been impacted. Join us to pray for our teens who live in an increasingly difficult world to live in and for each other as parents as we try to parent teens in such a difficult world to parent in.

In peace, hope and love,

Prayer Meeting
