Congratulations to the Weekly! I have been particularly impressed with Gennady's coverage of Palo Alto city issues. Coverage of that aspect of local politics is a real standout for Weekly.

How can the weekly win for best non daily newspaper when the story states that they produce a daily e-edition? How is that? Makes you question the value of the awards and who gives them out.

I applaud the reporters and staff at the Weekly for their contributions to our community. I especially would like to express my gratitude to them for their steadfastness in addressing the issues surrounding the very severe dysfunction at PAUSD. I love their town square forums where the whole community has a chance to weigh in on various issues. I am very keen to see what else the Weekly uncovers regarding the OCR (Office of Civil Rights) violation(s) at our schools. Without the Weekly's willingness to break the story about the young lady who was bullied at a local middle school (and, by the way) was not helped by the district, PAUSD may have gotten away with allowing more children to be damaged. Thanks also for the courage that it took for the family to bring this story to the Weekly.

Most all that I have learned about the PAUSD School Board and Supt. Kevin Skelly and his staff has come about through my access to the Weekly and Town Square Forums. By the way, the Weekly has posted a link which enables you to access the survey. To find this link, you can go to the Schools and Kids section of the Town Square Forums. Alternatively, I think the link is on the PAUSD website.

The survey must be completed and sent by June 4. Timeliness is important if you want to let the district know how you feel.

Well deserved. Overall, great quality of coverage for such a modest-sized publication (and modest-sized staff!).

I stopped receiving the hard copy of Friday edition of Palo Alto Weekly about 2 weeks ago at home and am wondering why, whether the Weekly has stopped home delivery completely? How to restore my home delivery?
