San Antonio Shopping Center evacuation lifted

Mountain View police evacuated nearby residents and businesses after a suspicious package was reported at San Antonio Shopping Center Sunday evening, May 26. The evacuation was lifted at about 9 p.m.

So they got rid of the bomb and are now pretending like nothing happened, so people don't panic. Otherwise, there would be an explanation, to put people at ease. Right? Right!

The police press release said there was no bomb. The bomb squad determined that the pot was empty and no explosives were found. The police speculate that someone was cooking and the pot overheated, so they left it outside too cool.
