Gov. Jerry Brown plans to fast-track high-speed rail through courts

Original post made by Allan B, Downtown North, on Jun 1, 2012

Since Jerry can't get his train following the law, an exception must be made so his legacy keeps on rolling Web Link This move is basically hobbling HSR opponents ability to continue to expose the fraud that this project is.

Our Governor has decided that he, and his pork project are above the law.

Git 'er done!

"Under Brown's proposal, train foes would have to prove in court that the project causes major environmental problems, such as wiping out an endangered species or damaging extremely valuable land. In the past, opponents on the Peninsula have delayed planning for the project by convincing a judge of minor problems -- for instance, that the state did not adequately study track vibrations. And Central Valley farmers Friday filed a lawsuit with a similar strategy in mind."

Uh-oh, better study them darn-durn "track vibrations"

Git 'er done!

well, if "Logically", channeling mater from movie cars, thinks ditching CEQA is good, it must be a good idea. Really?

The CA HSR project is a fraud, nothing more.

Here is a cautionary tale of the so called public-private business plan the CAHSR Authority has for the tax payers of this state. Frankly, NY got off cheap. Californians will be left holding the bag with hundreds of billions of debt.
