I agree with you. A lot of restaurants participate in those waiter.com type services, but they have a pretty steep minimum charge - its really more for offices, or maybe a large party.
I didn't realize that they had it in our neighboring cities though - I always thought it was more of a regional thing, like its California and you're just expected to drive to get your own food.
I'm sure many people on here have lived elsewhere at one time and can relate, but I remember living in Manhattan and ordering Chinese food, and it would literally come in like 15 minutes. Its like they knew exactly what I was going to order, and were already on the way or something.

There's not a lot of Asian food in Palo Alto for some reason. Mountain View has a much better selection.
R&B seafood delivers if the cost is over $25
Jing Jing delivers locally. I don't recall the delivery fee, but it's not exorbitant. Ming's delivers also.
