Feature story: Skating through time

Olympic champion Brian Boitano has skated on ice rinks throughout the world. He even skated on a glacier in 1988. But some of his fondest memories took place at Palo Alto's Winter Lodge, where Boitano and his friends held numerous parties, he said recently. ==B Related material:==

Hope it won't go away. Our family have great memories in Winter Lodge. My kid and her friends have wonderful time there.

So many fond memories of learning to skate there. Glad that it has survived all these years! Sad to hear Mr. Williams passed away. Whatever happened to Merre Jayne McFate? These folks were like family....
