EPA Little League will get new bats, gloves

The Ravenswood Little League program in East Palo Alto lost $8,500 worth of equipment when thieves broke into its storage building at Martin Luther King, Jr. Park sometime between 11 p.m. Friday and 7:30 a.m. Saturday. But the big guys are taking care of the little guys.

    Three huge cheers for the Oakland A's!!!!! How horrible of those thieves to steal from an organization that is helping kids that need it the most. To steal kid's equipment is sickening but to take it away from poor kids who can't afford to buy it is just the lowest of the low.

    Cheers also to all the other Little Leagues that are helping out too. Go Ravenswood!!!

    They should look on Craig's list or e-Bay you'll probably find the stolen stuff there.

    Signs at the all stars game this evening said that a donation had been made by PA little league and additionally that there would be a donation of takings from July 11th at the Old Pro, on Emerson Street.
