Menlo boys capture third straight NorCal tennis title

It was a weekend of celebrations for the Menlo School boys' tennis team. Head coach Bill Shine celebrated his 57th birthday on Saturday and assistant coach David Wermuth turned 32 on Sunday.
While there was no cake and candles for the coaches, they got something even better.

Wonder how "ho-hum" it was for Shine when the Bellarmine doubles team beat Carlisle and Nishimura in the finals of the CCS Doubles tournament? The Bell boys showed great heart, something that can't be bought.
