Good for Carol Garsten. It's good to see Palo Alto FINALLY doing what she did so successfully in Los Altos where she recruited 12 bands/musicians to play for free and did so much to revitalize their downtown.

Go Carol!

I’ve been part of the team working with Carol to get this event going and I want to thank the City and the Chamber of Commerce who have been great sponsors. Come out on May 18th to hear some live music and support the businesses in the Cal Ave area! It should be a good time.

Perhaps next month the bands can take turns playing. The sound was jumbled and you couldn't really hear the music.

Congratulations to Carol and Palo Alto for launching 3rd Thursday on a high note. On behalf of Jazz Before Midnight, one of the groups last night, I would like to express our gratitude. The turnout was fantastic, and the event was well organized. We also want to thank Terun for the marvelous pizza they provided. Additionally, we're excited to utilize the gift certificates we received from other exceptional restaurants, including Jin Sho, which was next to us. The tantalizing aromas wafting from Jin Sho had our mouths watering all night. The acoustic separation between the bands was much better than similar events. Once again, thank you, Carol. We look forward to returning in the future.
