Palo Alto welcomed new members to three critical city commissions -- a process that followed a record number of applications and an unprecedented interview process. We run down who got appointed.

Is it possible these new planning commission members will bring up, and maybe put effort toward fixing, the disfunction of the planning department and entire planning process in PALO Alto? All efforts for several decades have failed but perhaps now is the time. Hopeful but not holding my breath.
