Millbrae stop because of SFO?
Will HSR even be completed?

Millbrae to BART? Yeah, right. HSR to SFO, so people can fly to LA rather than take the HSR.

Adding extra stops like this undermines what HSR is supposed to accomplish -- efficient long distance travel -- and support for the project.

Quentin Kopp predicts that HSR travel times will be close to those of Amtrak. Amtrak takes 10 hours to go from L.A. to San Jose IF the train is on time.

If people want to go between L.A. and SFO in a hurry they'll still book an airline flight which will take a fraction of the time of HSR.

The article is misleading. Once HSR arrives in San Francisco it will have reached a dead end. There are no plans for HSR to cross the bay to the north or east.

When Dianne Feinstein leaves office she will no longer be pulling strings in Washington for CA HSR. Her late husband was the principal HSR contractor.

California voters were sold a bill of goods in 2008. HSR needs to be re-voted.
