Santa Clara County offers prescription drug cost reimbursement for chronically ill residents

Santa Clara County has begun offering financial support to residents with chronic illnesses like asthma and diabetes who struggle to pay their prescription drug costs, county officials said Tuesday.

I hope this program will benefit those in need of the financial assistance. However, curbing price-gouging by overly mercenary pharmaceutical companies would have an even greater impact.
