Crews extinguish fire inside wall of El Camino Real business

A building fire on El Camino Real in Palo Alto late Thursday night took firefighters several hours to fully extinguish because the fire was smoldering inside one of the walls.

Very happy no one hurt - including residential neighbors just across the little alley.
Will be very interested to see if these businesses had the proper relevant permits.

Both these businesses are way out of compliance with city sign ordinances - they look so junky in our neighborhood.
