This seems to be a good starting place and should make a big difference particularly to those who need to use more than one mode of transit.

I do however find it wrong that they are looking at this as a way to entice riders back. I would argue that they should be looking at this to encourage new riders who have never used transit before. Public transit should be more efficient than driving solo to work. This means streamlining service as is being proposed here, but also making it work for busy commuters who value their time. It should offer clean, reliable, service with opportunity to work, or do other things including sleep during the commute time. Efficient wifi is important to encourage commuters. Google and Apple employee buses have been doing this effectively. It is definitely time that the rest of the population are able to use the same top notch mode of travel.
