Mullin nets Speier's endorsement in race for her Congress seat

State Assembly member Kevin Mullin received a big boost in his bid for a seat in the U.S. Congress on Monday, when he received an endorsement from Rep. Jackie Speier, whom he is hoping to succeed.

The country is a mess right now because of Democrats. Vote for the Republican opponent. District 14 won't be hurt by someone new representing them. Speier didn't accomplish much during her tenure in office. It's time to get rid of the Democrat stranglehold on local congressional districts in the Bay Area.

Because the Republicans are doing a better job? Ummm. Big no.

I'm not happy with some things the Dems are doing, but the Republicans are waaaay worse right now. I'd like both parties to bring forward more moderate candidates and ditch the ugly rhetoric. Get back to listening to and serving the people.
