Free school meals for all here to stay in California

With 1 in every 6 children facing hunger in the U.S., California is the first state to promise every public school student -- all 6 million of them -- free school meals.

The callout in the article about "lunch shaming" made me cringe. There is a special place in a very hot place for adults who would do that to a child.

How sad than an adult(s) would ever shame a child. I hope he/she isn't a parent.
