It’s a shameful display ineptness — the buck stops w him, at his office — people have been thrown out homes, begged-on the street ... on and on And no apologies.Furthermore, I am sick at heart that local cities have not figured out the council meeting Brown act during this Pandemic. — the Brown act has been thrown to the waste side now?! . The Zoom doom and gloom has locked out public participation for all. Inequity to the max. The council chambers ate not even open to view the meeting via big screen with 6ft distance and mask mandate. Absurd!!! At least allow limited public in. Not even ADA accessible ... and Knew-something has Newsom has done nothing to address public meeting inaccessibility . Lastly, out teens and children have suffered and carried a massive burden by being toxified with on line media and only social outlet. Billions should go to programs to help our children see again, the real world. Liw income kids need art therapy, physical therapy and emotional therapy. For this democrat, myself. Nothing the governor has done has had any impact on the coronavirus--not masks, 6 ft. distancing, closed restaurants, closed sporting events etc. The outcome throughout the country is roughly the same. My problem with Gov. Newsom is that he seems to really enjoy hearing himself talk and sounding to himself like he's really smart (which he may be), but I tuned him out after possibly two of his early broadcasts on COVD because he was so abominably boring. Instead of making a crisp to the point case for what people should have been doing he droned on for hours giving statistics that were of little to no use for the average person-twenty thousand ventilators available in Chula Vista .....etc. Much better if he had emphasized what kind of masks were the most effective and other real life everyday points. I guess if he does get recalled we may see our R1 neighborhoods saved since these are in his target as soon as COVD becomes back page news.

∆ MOST politicians are self-serving regardless of their ethnicity but given the current electoral demographics, it would be safe to assume that the predominant number of self-serving politicians currently in office are white.

I suspect that the apprehension among some African Americans towards receiving the Covid-19 vaccine goes back to the Tuskegee experiments where blacks were injected with syphylis (by white researchers) in the 1940s and the results then 'clinically' studied by white researchers for over the next 30 years.

Let's note here that there was a giant recession which affected land ownership, building ownership. I was invested in a REIT which foundered due to the closing of shopping centers at that time as well as the building of new housing tracts. And it was a world-wide recession. You now have major hotels going into bankruptcy and being sold due to covid. Does anyone read the business section of the papers which is discussing the ebb and flow of giant land ownership due to world-wide financial issues? It is telling you every day about bankruptcies of major hotels and the selling of major buildings.

Now they are saying that if you go on vacation your rental car will cost more than your airfare and hotel. If anyone thought that they were now going to travel to some other city and rent a car there then think again. The rental car stock was sold and there are no autos coming off the production lines to replace them.

The latest before his departure for DC is the attempt to shut down the expansion of the housing development in the San Diego inland area. A map for the HSR shows that it has an end destination in Anaheim - Disneyland. Then an extension to the Inland Empire - Redlands and San Bernardino Counties then coming out to San Diego. Shutting down housing in an area that will see a lot of growth. They are trying to push all of the housing growth on the coastal section. The coast line from top of state down is subject to housing laws that would not be applicable in the inland section.
