Thank you for posting this invitation and information about the Solidarity Service.
Unfortunately you did not mention the time that this service will take place in a case any one reading would like to attend.

"The Solidarity Sunday service will be held this Sunday, 9:30 a.m.
at University AME Zion Church, 3549 Middlefield Road."
Not in the article's summary blurb but in final paragraph of the full story.
No indication that it's been edited since your comment.

Thank you for the additional information about the service.
KTVU tv news reports that a similar incident occurred at a grocery store about a mile away. Does PA Weekly have any more information about this?
Piazzas, Safeway and Grocery Outlet all come to mind.

Did a reporter attend this service? Was it well attended by people outside the AME Zion community? I think it would be wonderful to know how the community as a whole supported this church and congregation.
Is there any follow up information?
