BevMo! pays $359K consumer protection settlement

Retail beverage giant BevMo! will pay $359,000 to resolve a lawsuit contending that the company sometimes charged customers more than the lowest posted or advertised price for items.

But so many of these companies do it, including Safeway and CVS under the pretense that the lowest advertise price is reserved for Club Members.

30 seconds on Google shows Target, Wal-Mart, Best-Buy, Whole Foods have all been guilty of systematically doing this. From earlier this year: Web Link
