A successful golf season ends with state title for Palo Alto

There’s a first time for everything and the Palo Alto girls golf team surprised the field by winning the CIF High School Championship, becoming the first Northern California team to ever win the event since its inception 15 years ago.

Just to make it to State is a huge accomplishment (only three teams from all of Northern California make it) but to win it is absolutely incredible. Anybody who plays golf knows how difficult it is to control your emotions, execute the shot and grind it out from the first tee ball until the last putt drops into the 18h hole especially on a tough course. Congrats to Coach Knight and all the girls on the team. Wow! Your school and community are very proud of you. Paly Girls Golf Rules!
