County halts online traffic ticket payments

Santa Clara County Superior Court on Wednesday temporarily halted online payments for traffic infractions and misdemeanors because of a glitch in its fee system.

The county made an error that requires us to drive to an office on Homestead in Santa Clara that is open only during work hours? That doesn't sound fair to me.

Palo Alto Police for a while we’re having officers on bicycle sitting there on Lytton trying to catch people on their cell phone while stopped at the light, for example at Ramona; Such a stupid ticket deserves a flawed payment system. Keeping us safe, or keeping us guessing?
