The article reads:
Attorney Elizabeth Mori of Fagen Friedman & Fulfrost said Saturday that her comment was "simply an indication of the site that looked like it was an appropriate site based on the numbers. It wasn’t saying that other sites were not also appropriate."

It seems to me that the one who messed up here was the Attorney Ms. Mori and Gloria Hernandez, they both knew this was coming up, but again, Gloria was spending so much time on appearing on the Spanish TV Show " Buenos Dias America" talking about how she feeds the poor and the homeless that she forgot to dedicate time to address the crucial issues that are going on in our district, such as this one. Why shall we be paying her a salary to do that. it seems to me like she wants to be famous, but maybe she is in the wrong business, and as a result, our students continue to get a poor education as it was when Dr. Night was here.
Closing a Ravenswood sister school is the craziest idea that Ms. Hernandez has come up with. This is one more proof of how inept she is to perform her job. Why do we still keep her? Yes, it will be expensive to get rid of her, but if we don't, we will be spending a lot more money trying to clean up her mess as if it has happened with the Belle Haven Principal issue, and the legal suits will continue to come.

Why did Ms. Mori wait 43 days to let the board know about the need to provide extra space?

Why Is Gloria and Ms. Mori putting the pressure on the new board members to vote on this delicate issue when there is not enough time to address the closing of a Ravenswood's sister school?

If Pulido knew about this, how come it became public till now? Did Gloria asked her to keep ie quiet, and she owes Ms. Hernandez her so much she had to do it?

Dear Board Members,
Please do not rush your decision, if you do, just because you have to meet the datelines, nothing good is going to come out of it. We put you there to start making changes, this is the time to show that we voted for the right person. Please not more "I hear you, but there is no time" Those were Pulido's words when she renewed Gloria's contract. Remember that yes, the Charters can be in different locations, most of them are. No superintendent in the right mind or with the right hart will displace their own students to make a space for charter students unless she is retaliating against the BH parents and staff for speaking up last time.

Remember Ms. Hernandez is a chronic liar, do not believe everything she says. You will get to know her who she really is soon.

Please stop Gloria's retaliation culture, right now.

kids is a registered user.

I like their motto.. work hard be nice. They have good outcomes. Not sure about sites, but they are a well known charter with good results.

Dear Kids - I highly encourage you to visit these charter schools. I have been HORRIFIED by what I have seen with my own eyes. When you do please ask them about teacher qualifications. Please ask them about the children that are left outside the room without supervision in the cold constantly. Please ask them about screaming at and belittling young children. Additionally, while RCSD may have some serious areas of growth I have been blown away by the exceptional instruction that I see inside each of the district school sites and the positive community of families, students and teachers. RCSD also does not kick children out - the same cannot be said for charter schools.

Don't miss out on the discussion!
