PAUSD Legal Fee Up To $1.95 Million

Original post made by Legal Fees, Downtown North, on Jun 4, 2018

The Palo Alto Unified School District will request an increase in it's legal budget to nearly $1.95 million to complete 2018.The vote is Tuesday night. The Board packet says it is an increase of $435,000 (but the text in the Board Packet is missing a $, so it might be confusing.)Web Link

The legal budget request is for $1.2 million the year after. Yet given the number of mid-year increases in legal fees we have seen in PAUSD, we can't be confident that amount won't increase.
