A man ripped two iPhones out of a display at a Palo Alto Xfinity store Wednesday, threatened to stab an employee and then ran from the building, a Palo Alto police spokesman said.

The robber walked into the store, which is located at 2825 El Camino Real, and grabbed two secured iPhone 8 devices, Sgt. Brian Philip said. When a worker tried to stop the man from leaving, he threatened to stab the employee but did not display a weapon, however, Philip said.

Police described the robber as a black man in his 20s and 6 feet tall with a thin build. He was wearing a black hoodie and gray pants.
