A female Stanford student walking on campus early Thursday morning was grabbed by a man and briefly held her against her will, the university’s Department of Public Safety officials said in an alert.
The student was on the path around Lake Lagunita near the Lakeside Dining Hall at about 12:50 a.m. when the man approached her from behind and grabbed her by the wrist and waist. She was able to pull away and notified the police within a few minutes, police said. Officers searched for the man, but they were unable to locate him. Police categorized the crime as false imprisonment.
The man was described as white, 20 to 30 years old, about 6 feet tall and clean shaven with an average build, dark eyebrows and thin lips. He was wearing dark pants and a hooded blue denim jacket with the hood up over his head.
The student and man did not know each other, according to public safety officials.

I hope the victim and the police can work together on an artist’s sketch of the attacker. Current description is much to vague to be actionable.
I don’t understand…Why is a lady iwalking around midnight by herself? If a woman is walking at midnight, even around the church, don’t expect that saint spirit will appear in front of you! Evil spirits don’t sleep and grabs a woman by behind too!
If you’re want to walk by midnight you better go to 24 hrs/gym or borrow your grandma’s walking machine at you house.
