Five survive opening round of women's tennnis tourney

The Stanford women's tennis team opened competition at the ITA Northwest Regional Championships on Thursday at Taube Family Tennis Stadium. Five Cardinal players advanced to Friday's round of 32 in singles, led by top-seeded Melissa Lord.
