Obituary: John Freidenrich dies at 80

Longtime Atherton resident John Freidenrich -- a major supporter of Stanford University, a well-respected attorney and an early investor in many Silicon Valley companies -- died on Oct. 11. He was 80.

I'm sure the quote should read "He wasn't just a good lawyer, he wasn't just a good guy."but I suppose one never knows.
