How to watch City Council meetings

Original post made by Resident, Fairmeadow, on May 6, 2017

For those who don't know, this web page explains how to watch City Council (and other City) meetings: Web Link

The agenda is here: Web Link

The next one seems to be May 8 at 5:45. Hard to tell what is the best part to watch.

Thanks very much for posting that info. It's critical to watch because Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs) are back on the Consent Calendar even though major questions remain like whether there are even occupancy limits for the proposed 2-story ADUS overlooking neighbors' property.

As usual, the vote won't be taken until very late when most of those in attendance have given up and gone home.

Lots of criticism of how the CC makes decisions. Watch tonight to see if it's justified, esp. re the ADUs. (Agenda #6)

Agenda items 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 are all on the consent calendar. Moved, seconded, and passed in one minute. Blink and you'll miss it.

Unless something is pulled from the consent calendar, which is what happened with the ADU item on April 17, when it was scheduled on the consent calendar as a first reading to be adopted as passed by Council on March 6.

There should be oral communications by speakers from the general public before the consent calendar is addressed. I'm not sure what all is fair game.

Closed Session at the moment. I'll tune in around 7pm.

Will Thursday's meeting on the specifics of the ADUs be televised? Thanks in advance.

Don't miss out on the discussion!
