Menlo Park police are looking for two men who allegedly robbed a Trader Joe’s supermarket at gunpoint Saturday night.

According to the police, the men entered the Trader Joe’s, at 720 Menlo Ave., at about 9:15 p.m., shortly after the store had closed. Police said the two men were wearing hooded sweatshirts and masks. Once inside, the two men ordered employees at gunpoint to lie face down on the ground and demanded money, police said in a news release.

Police said both men fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash. Officers searched the area but could not find the suspects.

The two men are both described as Polynesian males. One was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, white sweatpants and a white face mask. The other was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, matching grey sweatpants and a white face mask.
