Suspicious Pizza Delivery Man Asking for different addresses ??

Original post made by MightBeSomething, Crescent Park, on Jul 23, 2016

An African American man opened my front front door and stuck his head in
confronting me in my living room claiming he was delivering pizzas. He had
no pizza in his hands and seemed to be walking aimlessly around checking
houses.

He said he was delivering a pizza to different addresses in the 900 block
of Channing Ave., but he did NOT knock on my door first or make any
noise before he opened my screen door and stuck his head inside.
What delivery person in this day and age does not have some kind of
navigational aid or smartphone?

Just letting people know in the Crescent Park Area that this happened
and the police have been called and are searching the area.

The man was about average height 5' 10" medium build with a medium
Afro and bore a fair resemblance to the character of Lionel character
on the old 70's series "The Jeffersons".

If anyone knocks on your door and claims to be asking for directions or
delivering a pizza you might consider notifying the police as soon as possible.

My neighbors seemed to indicate that the address he was looking for
was different with each person he encountered. One neighbor claimed
there were two men together.

Thank you to the Palo Alto Police who responded in just 2-3 minutes after
being called. WOW, what a great police force we have!
