Talisman has a "Gala" (fundraising) performance at All Saints Episcopal Church in downtown Palo Alto (555 Waverley St) on Saturday February 28, 1pm. My understanding is that the Gala supports their ability to travel to places where they can perform but especially hear the indigenous sounds of the music they perform.
They have a great sound, especially in this church's acoustic (I like to say "it's like being in a bandshell with the band!")
