Original post made on Nov 24, 2014

Your article on Stanford's track and field recruits has an error.
Kaitlyn Merritt's best Pole Vault mark is 13-9, not 14-0.75!
According to Track and field News, her 2014 best was 13-9.
Still an excellent mark, however!
I'm wondering where you got the 14-0.75 mark from!
Which meet?
When?

The details were taken directly from the Stanford sports press release:

Probably need to take it up with the Stanford SID to answer your questions.

According to DyeStat:

G-PV 1 14-00.75 Merritt, Kaitlyn (2015) (Santa Margarita, CA) (US#2) Santa Margarita vs. St. John Bosco (CA), 2014-04-16(#1)

So, a dual meet mark. Probably why it didn't make the Track and Field News list.
