Modern, but no 'museum'

The Old Palo Alto home that architect Mary Maydan's client purchased in 2012 was handsomely built in the 1980s, but it didn't really reflect his modern tastes.

You are absolutely correct one should maintain the things as it need and require too much excessive work changes the feel of real things

Very informative article. The pictures however, look very cold and uninviting...of course, that is a matter of taste. But it really looks like something that will be dated in a. Ery short time. And that is never a good investment.
