That has pretty much been their attitude for the last twenty years, at least. They feel they are above the law.

Having grown up i Palo Alto and witnessed the Cast school for many years it appears to have gone from a small snooty all girls school for the wealthy to a huge school that can't be supported by the neighborhood. I think many of the girls boarded at the school when I was growing up and i am not sure if they still have boarders. The one thing that I am sure of is that if they wanted to keep their numbers up in enrollment and were willing to do the due dilligence to provide transportation that ny of the ndid not impact their neighnors (ie shuttle busses like many of the tech giants provide they could do it. Hey, how about picking groups of girls up at the train station or better yet maybe Caltrain would stop a the overpass of one of their "milk runs" to disgorge a bunch of Casti girls. Jus thinking...with all of those millions they should be able to solve a simple problem like transporting their students without impacting their neighbors negatively. If I lived near the school I would be pissed as well. Come on Casti....get your act together and City Council, enforce the enrollment limit as well. This would be a great first step.

Don't miss out on the discussion!
